Hi Ohlala esl,
Regarding the No. 2 or 3 board games, I think I could share with you an idea:
01- Use [ WordArt ] to write the number you want.
02- Change the [ Text wrapping ] to (in front of text)_ so you can move it freely.
03- Use the different lines to divide your number into the necessary amount of steps.
04- Group the number and the lines to make it as one image.
05- Add pictures, numbers or rules as you like.

moravc �s picture is combination of [Word Art] - which you can fill with gradient colors and some shapes made of ovals, circles and others drawn by free lines.
Am I right moravc?

Yap, Wordart :-) all painted in Word with the help of painting tools in Word and free shapes :-)
