I �m really getting into the Halloween mood!
A fun thing to do with students is to make Halloween animations.
I use Paint Shop Pro.
I start by making a background and then make 5 copies.
Then I open Paint Shop Animation program that comes with PSP.
I add a image to each frame, but move it a bit.
There is a wizard helper to help make the animation.
When done, it looks like this.
Not elegant but a lot of fun.
I �m sure there are lots of great programs out there.
Just thought I �d share an idea.

That broom seems safe enough.
I miss Halloween with my kids.
Last Year, I was mourning my late son, but I didn �t miss the fun: I bought black yarn at one of those Chinese stores and made a crochet spider �s net to wear over my shoulders as a shawl; then, I hung a small pic of each one of my students on the net, with a clip and bought a big spider to join the two sides of the shawl, below the neck.
I guess I �ll go back to my old school and celebrate with my colleagues & the children, though I have already bought some Halloween stuff to decorate my new office.

Sylv - someone here recommended that DVDvideosoft free program.
It can do much more than just upload/download YouTube videos.
It also converts to AVI at the same time! It �s super easy and free too!
I think the quality is good too.
The broom is pretty stable - but next year I �m gonna get me a super-duper-turbo-fuel-injected - nuclear powered broom! I �ll be zooming all over the net!!
