The correct phrase is "to have too much on one īs plate." - This means you have too much to do or things that need solving. Smile

That is another way to say it.

We use "to have too much on my mind" in the US more than "to have too much on my plate", which is considered antiquated here.  Idioms are hard, because idioms can have different meanings depending on where you live.

 
My favorite is "brain overload".
