I am looking for activities that can be used  as gruop work activities while teaching writing and speaking

You can use proofreading activities. Something like this:
 
you not have a good idea of the matter
You don �t have a good idea of the matter.
 
You can also have them interview partners and record their answers to write about their partners � answers.
 
There are many, many things you can do.
