Hi, Does anyone have Word for Apple? If so, do you know how to make the thumbnail view go away? Thanks! Marla |

Hello Marla,
Under the "Word" menu at the top, select "Preferences" then "Save". You will see a checkbox that says "Save preview picture with new documents". Uncheck it.

Hi Joe. Thanks for the response. I was referring to the thumbnail which appears in the left column when the document is opened. I took your advice anyway. It seemed that unchecking that would be a good idea. Not sure why, LOL. Thanks
