Starter for Class!

I wonder why some of my colleagues repel student s interest gained within terms just by beginning the class in a so dull and dreary way. I d experienced and better to say made such a blunder long time ago. It would be predictable how uninterested students will be to comprehend and participate class activities in advance. Therefore I d like dear pal here comment about this.

                          Thanks in advance;

                                   R.B.

My interpretation:

I wonder why some of my colleagues immediately bore students by beginning their classes in a dull and dreary way.
I experienced.. or maybe I should say... made such a blunder, a long time ago.
[I ve no idea what the next sentence means]
Therefore I d like if my dear friends here could comment on this.

I just meant students get bored whenever some teachers start their classes without warmming up and quickly grab the lesson. it makes students behave like robots.

hope it makes sense!!!!

To be honest "Robert". If I spoke to my class the way you write, I d lose their interest too.

There are two basic rules of communication, in my opinion:
Don t speak "down" to students and
don t speak "over their heads".

If you speak down to them - you show them no respect.
If you speak over their heads, you are just trying to show they
how good you are, but are not teaching them anything.
