I �m compiling a list of activities for teachers to do to keep the students � attention when there are only five mintues left until the end of class. I would welcome any ideas and suggestions to add to my list. (I can also share my current list with you if you like!)

Have a look at the book: "Five Minute Activities" by Penny Ur and Andrew Wright. It has saved me many times over the last several years.

I like to play Who/What Am I?or Hangman. I use both to reinforce the lesson vocab. Most kids will be game. They love the competition, especially boys vs girls.
