Some of my kindergarten students confuse the letters b, d, p, and q and the numbers 6 and 9.
Please send any suggestions on creative ways to help them learn to name these items correctly.

Hmmm....
I have never worked with kids, but I think you �d need to use associations, maybe...
Say, while they write letter b they picture it as looking like a bulldoser or a baseball cap, and then dinosaur with a full belly for d, and then pocket for p, and queen for q.
They would need to see all those pictures in the letters, though.   |
