I suggest that the maximum size for powerpoint presentations should be 1000kb instead of 500kb.

I usually have to cut parts, delete images, and do lots of other things that decreases the quality of the materials in order to send them.

Anyone agrees?

I suggest 1500 kb. I have good powerpoint presentations, but can t cut everything(((

Not that long ago, many of the members here helped pay for a new server
because the old one was filled up.
There are many programs and many ways to compress images without
losing too much of the quality.

I don �t think we need til fill up this new server already.

Ask for help with compressing images - there are many tutorials here already.

Gabitza has some great tutorials on powerpoints.
Zailda has a tutorial about resizing images.

I also agree that we shouldn �t fill up the server, but I also think that a maximum of 500Kb nowadays is not enough. In my opinion Luis � proposal is good: 1000kb. I �ve already used the tips of some os our enlightening contributors, but they aren �t enough for my powerpoints.

Well, there are programs you can use too.
I use powerlite and it is really good.
