English for total blindness students

Hi folks! Ime here to ask you some help. Do anybodody know any site where I could find worksheets in braille? I have a blind sixteen-years-old student, and she loves English. I use to read and she "writes" everything by braille method, but I would like to find something different to work with her. So, I would appreciate your help...thank you very much.

Hello,

Unfortunately, I do not know any material in braille.
However, yesterday, someone posted a very interesting site here that might be useful for your student. It is a storytelling site. Your student will only need someone to play the story at the beginning.

Regards,

Lilli.

Hmm... that s very specialist!

I looked at the wikipedia and it gave links to these organizations at the bottom of the page:

Association Valentin Hay
Braille Authority of North America
Braille - American Foundation for the Blind
National Braille Week
Scottish Braille Press
Royal National Institute For The Blind
Perkins School for the Blind
National Braille Press - offers a free Braille alphabet card
Alternate Text Production Center
Accessible Media Center
National Braille Association, Inc.
Royal Blind School.
Braille Institute of America
Comit Internacional ProCiegos, IAP - Mxico

Most of them seem to be non profit and I m sure they have experience with people wanting to learn English,  they could probably give you advice if you contacted them. That s the best I can think of!

Wishing you both luck! :)
