Film Roaring Twenties

Hello everyone,
I hope you are having a good day. Here in Italy we ve got a sunny but cold day in the mountains ... just right for this time of year :-)
Now I would have a question concerning films. I am teaching the Roaring Twenties and would like to show a film to my class. Unfortunately, the only one which comes to my mind is "The Great Gatsby" with Robert Redford and Mia Farrow. I don t really like this movie, so I would be REALLY grateful for some other suggestions. Thanks for your posts in advance.
Lots of greatings from well once again the Italian Alps <3

Chicago (2002) Delovely (2004) - part takes place in the 20 s The Aviator (2004) - part takes place in the 20 s Seabiscit (2003) - part takes place in the 20 s Kinsey (2004) - part takes place in the 20 s Idlewild (2006) - although this wouldn t be considered historically accurate
other "modern" movies about the 20 s: Chaplin (1992) - part takes place in the 20 s Harlem Nights (1989) The Great Gatsby (1974)
HOPE IT HELPS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! |
