Mill = a factory for manufacturing paper, steel or textiles
Plant = the complete buildings and equipment of an institution, (an industrial plant, a heating plant at a university)
Station = where the worker is normally located (work station), a building for a particular type of work (train station, police station)
Company = a group of people incorporated or together for a business (a publishing company)

In Canada, we also say "sulphur plants", "Hydro plants", "car plants" ... so a plant can also be a place where a transformation takes place.
