I would like to talk about Slam (by nick Hornby) with my students (Year 10) in school.

I �ve read the book and I think it �s really interesting. However, there are two things I don �t understand completely and I would be very glad if you could give me your interpretations/answers concerning this topics. I would also be very intersted in ideas concerning this book on the web.

 

1. question:

Does the boy (Alex) really travel into the future? If not, how come that he knows all that stuff (like that his mother is pregnant, his boys � name...) And how can I explain this to my students?

 

2.question:

HOw would you interprete the title?
