plagiarism and copy right

Hello Victor Hello everyone,
I really have an important question concerning plagiarism and copy right. If I took a part (copy and past) from an online website as CNN or any other website for a reading activity and I put the source at the end of the page, is that considered legal?
And also can I add it here after I change it to a reading activity with some questions and so on!!
Thanks a lot for your help |

Hi, if you copy and paste a text you found on the internet, you have to put the sources. It s also better to add a couple of task to do (ex: comprehension questions, follow-up activities...). I would also advice to put a picture or two - to illustrate your text, to help our pupils understand the content of the text before reading it... have a look at the tutorials ws PhillipR made, they are really useful and full of ideas!!! hope it helps!

Hi!
Since we re neither teachers nor designers (few exceptions apart), we take pictures and texts from books or Internet. But you have to turn it into an original ESL resource, adding your own questions / tasks / activities, or it ll be a mere copy & paste and will be removed, since copies are not allowed here.
Have a nice day!
