Question about a sentence

Hi everybody !

I am not sure if this sentence sounds very natural

" He has been diving since he went to Australia  ( or had a holiday in Australia)"

I need a sentence with since with " he has been diving..."

Thank you for your comment

He has been diving since the time he went to Australia.
or
He s been diving since he went on a holiday in Australia.

There are probably lots of other examples.

He s been diving since he took that course in Australia.

Best I could manage!

He has been diving ever since he came back from Australia.

It really depends on the intent of the sentence being stated.

"He has been diving (ever) since he went to Australia" sounds fine  (unless he lives there now in which case I would put "since he moved"

Other options.... he s been diving

ever since he was ten
ever since he was knee high to a grasshopper
since he met his girlfriend who introduced him to the sport (/ hobby)
since forever
since holidaying in...
since his holiday in....
since he bought that seaside cottage

HTH

Have a nice day!

That was a strange answer Mr. Bed. How do YOU know if people complicate their lives?
Everyone here has the right to ask a question without being judged.
