Hand in = phrasal verb so they re both fine!
Possibilities for separable phrasal verbs:
Hand in the essay on time.
Hand the essay on time.
Hand it in on time.
(NB. not Hand in it on time.)

I think newtie meant the second sentence to be "Hand the essay in on time", and all three are correct, as newtie said. |

This is a difficult question. Because it is sometimes very difficult to submit a finished essay on time because a lot of time and effort is spent on writing it. Also, often, students do not have enough skills to write a good article. That is why, in such cases, I use specialized services such as https://www.bestessays.com/lab-report.php in which I order the writing of such academic content. It is very convenient and safe because the company guarantees anonymity and money back.
