Hello everybody,
I have a doubt. Can you help me, please?
Which of these sentences is correct and what is the explanation?
 
a) She was afraid that sharks came and ate her children.
 
b) She was afraid of sharks came and ate her children
 
c) She was afraid that sharks would come and eat her children.

"c" is the correct answer. Thumbs Up

"She was afraid (that) sharks would come and eat her children" is the correct option.

Basically, it �s the "future in the past". She was afraid that something was going to happen.

You could also say "she was afraid of sharks coming and eating her children"
