Recently, Victor published how a certain press had stolen some worksheets from eslprintables without giving any credit to the authors.
I think all of us should back our copyrights a little bit more, even if there is a copyright notice on each ws s page.
I suggest creative commons, as way to license our worksheets, it is pretty clear and easy to use. I recomend that each teacher gets a cc license and pastes the license code at the footer of the document.
Best regards,
Mauro

Hey Linda!
I ll have to check when I get home.
The creative commons thing is really not big deal:
2. Click on License.
3. Choose the kind of license you want.
4. Get the code.
5. Paste the code on your worksheet.
Easy,
Hope that helps,
Mauro |

I opened the link to " View legal code " expecting to find something there, but... I gonna cry, I told you, I don t understand anything of this stuff. LOL Help me linda

I think it s a good idea but creative commons is not acknowledged internationally, nor would it hold up in a court of law. If someone stole your work then having a creative commons licence for it would be of no more use than the current copyright sign that this site gives you.

Well, it s not accepted everywhere, but it s got a pretty good number of countries which acknowledge it... netter than nothing. |
