i was aarguing with my colleagues about the differences between save for and save to for example:
what are you you saving for?
a) i;m saving for buying a new car.
b)i save t to buy a car.
in my opinion there is no difference but maybe i īm wrong. |

You are saving up for a new car. and you can save up to buy a new car too.
But the first one is not correct.

Liberty is correct... the first is incorrect.
Save (smthing) for - (usually) goes with nouns.
I īm saving money for a trip. I īm saving it for a rainy day.
Save (smthng) to - with verbs.
I īm saving money to buy a new house. For weeks, he saved his money to go skiing.
