Hi everyone!
I teach English in Argentina and we didn´t use to strike the flag with children, but we are planning to do it now. I remember when I was a student of a bilingual school we used to make silence. However, I would like my students to say something in English while we are doing it. A rhyme or something like that, but I don´t know any and couldn´t find ideas online. Can someone help me?

The problem is anything you can find on the net will refer to other flag no to ours.
A good idea would be that you and your mates write a rhyme yourselves....

Mi Bandera
La bandera mía
se parece al cielo:
es azul y blanca,
con el sol en medio.
¿Cómo no quererla
como yo la quiero
si en ella el retrato
de mi patria veo?
Por eso al mirarla
flotando a los vientos
de orgullo y de dicha
se me ensancha el pecho.
Por eso al mirarla
siento un solo anhelo:
ser justo y honrado,
ser valiente y bueno.

Yes, I know most rhymes in english refer to other flags.
I will probably write one of my own, but perhaps someone has went through the same, figured it out and is able to share his or her rhyme...
The Spanish rhyme posted by Lagringa is really nice. I´ll try to use it as an inspiration.

As blue as the sky, As white as the snow-- See our flag fly! Two pretty colors Wave at the sky, white and blue ,white and blue. Those colors are always in my heart . Hold up the flag Hold it up high, and proudly say “I’m Argentine”
