giving feedback on tests lessons

I feel that giving feedback on tests (test correction sessions) lessons are boring compared to ordinary lessons. In Tunisia we prepare remedial tasks then we correct the test. can you share your experiences? what do oyu think? how do you proceed in correcting exams in your countries?

Mayamin,

You have to ask yourself what the purpose of the test (or exam) is: to be used as part of a summative or formative assessment? How you structure the test and how you conduct the feedback will differ depending on what you want to measure or focus on.

Sorry, I just realised that you said you prepare the remedial tasks, then you correct. What s the rationale behind this?

Regards,

Alex
