I am in South Korea and I am having an English Festival. I have no idea what that means but, my head teacher wants one. If anyone has some good ideas for activities and ect. I would be so grateful. Of course some holidays show be incorporated but how can i help the kids get more interested in English. |

If this is the same as English Week, I suggest you do the following...
1. english spelling quiz bee
2. comedy skits
3. declamation contest/oration contest
4. use english language only during the week
5. english essay writing contest
6. debates (english only)
7. english quiz bee

Hi! If you want to have some ideas for quizzes look at The free dictionary

There is the Hangman, the spelling bee and match up.
Sometimes during a festival they can have a singing contest.
Also some short comedies are good.
It depends on how much time you have to prepare it and to perform it.
