Sorry floona - I �m a little confused by your question! I �ve never taught sentences like these as �subject noun phrases � or �object noun phrases �. Perhaps you could give a little more context so hopefully someone (who knows more than me!) can help you out. These look more like ellipted relative clauses or ellipted clauses of purpose to me but I can �t be sure. I �m a bit rusty on this type of linguistics!
Could you explain a little more what you intend to teach please?!
