which one is correct?

Hi everyone. Which one is the correct?

Going to the hospital would have been the best option.

It would have been the best option to go to the hospital.
The best option would have been to go to the hospital.
The best option would have been going to the hospital.

And what do you think of these ones?
It is a good idea to plant trees.
Planting trees is a good idea.

I am a bit confused about the subjects in these cases. Could you help me?
Thanks in advance,
Paola

All six of your sentences are correct, and they all sound natural.
In order, the subjects of your sentences are
going
it
option
option

it
planting

I hope this helps.

I think the most common one is...

The best option would have been going to the hospital... (the others are correct too)

About trees.. Both are correct despite the fact that if you start the sentence with it, that it would be an anticipatory/empty it..

Hope I have helped you!
