Hear hear Zailda - that is perfectly correct though it seems that some members don �t believe those of us that agree with you
 
Peoples is only used in special circumstances.  Those who are wide readers will have seen this form used both today and in works from days gone by.  It is still very much a word used in academic fields.
 
The answer that started this thread should read as people.
