Question For American Teachers

There is such a big problem in Illinois, where I teach, our state owes just our school district 1.3 million dollars, and over 130 teachers (both non-tenured and tenured) are being layed off. I know some classrooms are going up to 40 kids next year. How is it in your state?

I �m so sorry to hear this. We are losing teachers, too, in Georgia, but we still don �t know how bad it is going to be. In fact this is the latest contracts have ever been given out in Clarke county.
