Can anyone help me with the translation from Spanish to English:
"No hay mal que dure 100 a�os"....
I came up with : "No evil lasts forever".... but it doesn �t totally convince me!!!

" Nothing goes on forever " ?
" Even the longest night comes to an end " ?
" This too shall pass " ?
I don �t know if any of these is correct, they are the ones that come to mind ... |

Perhaps instead of "nothing goes on forever", "nothing lasts forever". In Portugal we say "There is no good that lasts forever nor evil that doesn �t come to an end" (Literally translated)
But all in all the given suggestions are very good. |

this is one of my favourite Spanish sayings.
we don �t really have anything close to it.
but similar meanings might be:
every cloud has a silver lining.
there �s always a light at the end of the tunnel.
