The Difference
Hi everybody,
I tried to find the difference between "especially" and "specially". But I couldn ´t
reach to a satisfying result. I hope that I can have the answer here.
Thanks in advance.

Czech Republic

According to ´ Common Mistakes at Proficiency ´by Julie Moore :
Especially means ´particularly´ and specially means ´for a particular purpose´:
I love French cheese, especially Camambert.
a car specially designed for cities
Sometimes can be used interchangeably :
I made the cake specially/especially for you.
Hope it helps :-)
