Teaching listening without listening!
|
Hi everyone
Another slightly strange request for help!
I ve been working on this on-line project for my school for the past six months and I m down to the last 2 activities! I m working on FCE level and these are the exam practice listening modules . I ve linked other sites for students to go to then come back to ours and record their score but I need to include some exercises about the listening before they go and do the practice, but without any listening!!!
What I ve got so far is:
(part 1) matching distractors in a tapescript to the answers they appear to indicate the identifying the correct answer
(part 2) predicting the type of word that will complete the sentence
(part 3) matching vocabulary that identifies a type of speaker
(part 4) similar to part 1
I need another exercise per part if possible!!!
Thanks in advance!

Betting is usually helpful. Students read the questions and answers. After that they bet which answer is correct and then listen to the recording to check who was right. |

Thanks for the suggestion, but it s online - it has to be something students can do by themselves and that can be scored on the site! You see why it s so complicated!!!!
