Hello, this year I have been teaching a young group 5 to 7 years, I have worked with the stories: "Brown bear, Brown bear", "The hungry caterpiller".
Do you know another know story for young children to work with.
thanks a lot.

I don t teach kids but I do have a 2 year old. These are a couple of our faves:
"The Snail and the Whale" by Julia Donaldson (although now as I write this I m guessing it might be a bit hard, well anyway, maybe it ll come in handy for you later on) "Giraffes can t Dance" by Giles Andreae, and Guy Parker-Rees "Handa s Surprise" by Eileen Browne (the simplest of the 3 in language terms)
HTH!

Winners with my students are Robert Munsch and Eric Carle.
Chicka Chicka Boom Boom is also a fun story that teach the alphabet. It s a change of the old song we sing all the time.
