Lesson Plan or teacher resourses for private tutor

Hi guys, I am planning to quit my recent job as a Kindergarten teacher. Because I wanna be a private tutor at home. So, I just come to my student s home or I ask them to come to my house.

The problem is I just a Kinder teacher before so I am not expert in teaching English for Primary or higher level student. So, could you please inform me which website that provides lesson plan, worksheet or etc for  Elementary or higher level student? Honestly I am not dare enough to teach them but I have to :)

Besides that, I would like to ask if you know about the nice printable story for kindergarten or elementary student? Since some of my student are still learning reading.

Thank you in advance for you kind help

Frankly, if you know what you re looking for, you can find everything here. Nevertheless, here are some links for various levels...

http://missychoobooks.com/WhatColorIsMonday.aspx - nice story

http://www.bbc.co.uk/cbeebies/ - stories, songs, interactive stuff...
http://storynory.com/ - great elementary and intermediate stories
http://www.englishpage.com/ - recommended grammar
http://www.anglomaniacy.pl/index.html

etc. lots of good stuff is available if you just google it...
Since you re only beginning with this, it would help you a lot to get a copy of coursebooks (and teachers books) for the levels you re teaching, so you d know which level of vocabulary and grammar is expected for each knowledge level.

Dear Gens,
I have been giving private lessons for more than ten years and in my experience, a set lesson plan doesnt usually work, because you have to adapt each lesson to the needs of the spesific students. Some may be faster others may be slower, some kids can take a lot of homework, with others you might need to devote more  time to do the exercises together because they don t at fisrst do well on their own. So, the best lesson plan is the one you will instictively create on your own based on the needs of the student.
I agree with anitarobi though, you must get the teacher s book well in advance and work out the structure of the lesson based on the format of the book. Most teacher s books have lesson plans but again, they are created for use in the classroom and you will need to adapt them. I usually buy the teacher s book in the summer and spend a few weeks creating my own portfolio with extra information (like expansion topics, pictures, videos, songs, etc) and extra exercises to deal with problem areas that might need more work.
Hope this helps, PM me if you need more information.
Hugs Vicky
