I promise this is the first and last time I open a subject which is not related to EFL here. But I am so nervous. I didn �t drink coffe all day but I can �t help it. I �ve always looooved football so you can imagine that today I �m extremely nervous. Spain is not my country but today I feel it is. I hope Paul is right again. By the way, congratulations to Germany for the victory and to Uruguay for their excellent team and attitude. For me, they are winners. GO SPAIN!!! Corina

corina, thank you for your congratulations.
At times I was under the impression that everybody congratulated Uruguay although they had not won the match. They did play very well, indeed, and nearly came up with a third goal in the last minute or so.
German and Dutch football fans traditionally don �t like each other (that �s what my sons say) so my family are hoping Spain will win. Personally, I have not quite forgiven Spain for playing such magical football and making life so hard for the Germans in the semi-finals. So I �ll refrain from watching altogether...except maybe the last couple of minutes, we �ll see.

Congratularions to the best four. All the teams have shown their best. Germany, has shown that they paly as a real team so they deserved the 3rd position. Uruguay, has shown their "garra" charrua until the last moment of the game. That made them something to highlight. Now, let�s see Holland and Spain...
My Spanish blood calls me so..... Go, go Spain!!!!  . I �m waiting for the game to start.

Hello elderberrywine ! I DID congratulate you on winning !! And I meant it ! Maybe you didn �t see it because it was at the caf� ... it �s still there - check under the landscapes ... ! (I posted big pictures so I didn �t want to do it here in the forum ... ) Again then, my congratulations to you and your people! We did play a good match ... but not enough !! ;-) |

I �m �watching the final at the moment and I must say, Germany and Uruguay were much better at FAIR PLAY than these two teams are ... a shocking amount of fouls in the first 45 minutes...
