Hi dear colleagues!
 
I need some help and hope someone will be able to help me:
 
Next year I �m going to teach a 6th form (my students are about 16 years old) and one important topic will be: THE ROUTE 66
 
Does anyone have some information about this topic?
Listening comprehensions?
etc. etc.
 
I �d appreciate any ideas!

Hi there!
How about activities based on some abstracts from "Cars" that relate to that subject? If I �m not mistaken it was about the route 66. Or is this idea too lame for 16-year-olds? (I mean would they be interested in that kind of animated movie)
They might also like the song http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=A82who93D4Q and you can make some activities based on the song... "Get your kicks on route 66..."Wink
