Hi! I can �t be sure about the meaning �cause the phrase is out of context. But I sure can give you a dictionary explanation: to follow sth through means to carry out or continue sth to the end, to complete sth.Eg Starting projects is one thing - following them through is another. Well, I would recommend to use a dictionary in such case. I personally prefer Oxford Advanced Learner �s Dictionary, because the explanations are very simple and clear plus they give plenty of examples and explain the slightest differences in the meaning of synonyms contextually. Sophia defined it nicely, and the usual context is a customer service kind of situation. If a company has made a mistake and I call them to get it corrected, they will tell me that they will take care of it, and too often it stops there. If their agent calls me later to make sure that the problem has been corrected, I would say, "Thank you for the follow-through".
