SMART BOARD

The Smart board is a new type of white board. It is so useful and interesting for the students. You can download flashes and you may use Internet or not.
I would like to share this kind of material.
Does anyone know it ? |

Smart boards are fantastic! I work with it in my classes. I usually use the CD Roms that come with the course books, surf the web, powerpoint presentations and much more.
They are an incredible tool for the classroom, rather expensive though. I dont really prepare especial material to use with the interactive board.

How lucky you are!!! In one of the schools I work for, I would like to be able to write on the board. Its in very bad conditions, you know!!!
Congratulations to both of you!!! |

Hi Yaluf!
Smart board is an extraordinary device in language teaching. We have several boards at school so I guess Im lucky. I have plenty of materials that I have designed for that but it isnt smart board but mimio board which is almost the same. Unfortunately they are not compatible so if you are interested in my materials for mimio board let me know and Ill send you some.
Best regards,
Krisztina

Hi,
In our school we work with the Smart Boards. We have one in each classroom and it is fantastic to work with.
You can learn more about it in Smarttech.com Go to the education link and you can download the Smart board sofware and use it in your own computer. There are also smartboard resourses which can give you an idea about how it can be used in classroom context.
Best regards,
Doroteia

Wow! Sounds wonderful! At the moment Ive got a flipchart with no paper, two whiteboard pens, that are hardly showing, no book and a limit of 3 copies per 8 teaching units, a very old OHP when Im lucky ... Computers? Interactive whiteboards? Internet? Beamer? Ive heard of their existence... ;-) Still - I dont want to complain. With this wonderful website here, Im still quite capable of making the best of that!
