Hello everybody,
I need your help: what verb would you use with bicycle motocross (freestyle BMX)

to ride bicycle motocross? to practice bicycle motocross? to do BMX (sounds strange to me!)
thanks for your help :)

You can ride a BMX, ride a motocross bike (always the noun after motocross , not before), compete in or participate in motocross (without the bike ). There may well be other expressions reb77 but the foregoing are the one I have heard.

I have heard people say, "My son does motorcross", so the verb to do is also used.  You can also use participates in involved with .  I have not heard however, "My son rides motorcross", but "My son rides a BMX bike" is okay.
