As for the relative thing, it might show up in a chart, but in spoken English we would say "a cousin three times removed".
Frank, it is used, but very rarely.

Uh, chart, yanogator. So it would be used by someone giving a quite formal business presentation and people wouldn �t be raising their eyebrows?
