Hi guys!
Just have a quick question.
I ´ve a student who asked me a question yesterday:
What is the difference between:
I recognised I noticed
I know there must be some difference but I just don ´t know what!
Thanks Sarah |

Notice is just to become conscious of something through one of your senses... I noticed a man in a bright blue suit with orange hair while I was walking home.
I noticed the chef had added a strange new spice to the dish.
Recognise is connected to also knowing the thing... I noticed a man in a bright blue suit with orange hair while walking home, and when he got closer I recognised it was my brother - he must have taken those drugs he found!!
I noticed the chef had added a strange new spice to the dish, and after a few minutes of chewing I finally recognised the flavour - he had added Dr. Pepper!!
