At the end of this month I have my "open class" (parents attend the class and observe their children�s performance so it�s really important to me) I want to prepare sth funny and special but I�m running out of ideas. My sts are 10 years old and during this first part of the year we have been studying prepositions of place, present continuous and present simple, can, have got, likes and dislikes.Have you got nice ideas for me??

-Turn your classroom into a town. Put-up different signs identifying different parts of the classroom as the pool, the toy store, the cafe, the police department, etc. 

-Have the parents sit or stand in these different areas. 

-Ask the students different questions concerning the parents: 

 

example:

Teacher: "Where is Joe �s mother?"

Student: "Joe �s mother is in theCafe."

T: What is she doing there?

S: She is drinking coffee.

 

It �s an idea, please let me know if you try it and how it worked out.
