Cruci means cross.
Verbal means words.
And -ist as in cyclist...
So it must be either a crossword lover - like swissprof said - or someone who creates crosswords!

Okay.. a crucible is a container or vessel and verbal is all about words so maybe it s a container for words ie a dictionary. Ha! Ha!
Or a person -ist who has a container -cruc for verbs -verb
or a list of verbs kept in a container. |

Hello again,
There was no fooling the French speakers today.
Someone who loves to do crosswords is the answer.

Hey Frank,
the solution came before I had the chance of playing! I ve only just returned from work and wanted to participate.
But OK, since the answer was given right from the beginning, you are forgiven! Hugs Petra

Aw! I had a good idea for what it meant, but you already gave the answer:
I thought it was someone who can "crucify" another person verball--I ve met some people with that talent, when they are done chewing you out you wish you were dead. |
