I want to know which option is the correct one in these sentences:
We came across a friend of us at the mall yesterday. or We came across a friend of ours at the mall yesterday.
I really appreciate your help.

The second option is the only correct one.
We always need to use the personal pronouns mine, yours, his, hers, ours and theirs in this kind of sentence.
---> You also say, "it�s a friend of mine" and not "it�s a friend of me"! ;)
