fusco = contraction for a co-worker with a short fuse. (fuse co)
fer= steel
gin = a strong drink
 
fuscoferuginous = someone who needs gin and nerves of steel to deal with his or her co-worker.

You have to be joking! Such a word actually exists?

The only worst one I know is zenzizenzizenzic  and believe you me, it is a true word!
Okay, then let me have a go at it....hmmm, some iron in it, some fusco, which in Greek is both a bubble and a strong slap to the face...and the ending is an adjective.
 
fuscoferuginous:getting slapped by a someone so strong you feel you were slapped with an iron shovel. And then your face is all fuscoferuginous.
