Oh - My poor brain - it s time for me to go to bed when I get the Word of the day.

This is a word used in a boasting way by contestants in the Long Haired Cat Society competition.
The person whose cat won can say: I Hadeharia cat than you did.

I think it s a classic example of connected speech in the South-East London region of the UK, an accent famed for its use of elision and catenation in particular!

I had a hard year becomes hadeharia . The is the traditional greeting between two South East Londoners upon entering a pub after work. It serves as an acknowledgement of the other person s suffering, an explanation of their own as well as a request for beer. Not normally seen outside the South East London region although variations can be found in Yorkshire and the Midlands.

It could be that you wanted to express that you ve just come back from the hairdressers?

Being that hade goes for something that is leaning, and haria is clearly a derivation from the correct spelling of hair, hadeharia is obviously the problem punks have when their hair is falling down and their stylish Mohican haircut starts to come back to our normal gravity affected hair styles.

There... my first contribution for the "word of the day". I think I ve nailed it! LOL

Nice one Frank!! But a bit too easy...... Approve
