In England we study English language and English literature so I would suggest that conocimiento de lenguaje might be most accurately translated as Spanish language - nothing more.
Taller de matemticas would be a Maths workshop (British English = Maths, Am. English = Math - you decide!)
I m not sure about the last - Medidas my be better translated as methods in this context but perhaps if you described the subject it would be clearer how to translate it! I think it might be something like Study Skills or Social Studies but I m really just guessing!

Educacin para la Ciudadana would most probably be Citizenship Studies or something like that!

Dear Elojolie, aliciapc, Lindsay and Ed,
Thanks a lot for your answers. As Lindsay suggested it would be a good idea to describe the subjects a little bit.
Conocimiento del lenguaje and Taller de matemticas are two optional subjects who usually take students who are weak at Spanish language and Maths respectively. That s why the name Spanish language is not adequate, because there is another subject called like that.
As for Medidas de Atencin Educativa, this subject is offered to students who do not choose religious studies. As far as I know any teacher(English teacher, history teacher, chemistry teacher, PE teacher...) can be in charge of this subject and there is no stablished curriculum for it. It sounds weird, doesn t it? Therefore, students usually study other subjects, do homework, play chess, watch a film or just do nothing, it all depends on the groups and the teacher in charge.
I would like to ask another one: tutora. This is one hour a week which the tutor spends with the students in his/her group and do activities depending on the age of the group. For example, they may talk about drugs, alcochol, friendship... What do you think about tutorship??
Cristinasuma, I would definitly translate educacin para la ciudadana como Citizenship.
Thanks again. MsPoppins
