TEACHING READING TO A DISLECTIC ADULT (Native speaker of English). Please help me find some easy materials.

Please help me to find some approachable materials for one of my students.
He is 22 and dislectic. He is British but he is very bad in reading...
The worksheets I usually see are either too childish in form and content or too advanced for him...

Thanks,
Joanna

Try this site:

It s aimed at adults. There is a search box. This is the page resulting from a search for dyslexia

Jamiejules has a great guide to working with dyslexics here on the site, take a look at it. I found it extremely useful.

These are a few websites I used when I taught adult literacy a few years ago. They are not necessarily resources for dyslexia but I hope they ll be of some use to you.

There were a few more but the links have expired.
