Hi!
I don t know the language you are translating from so I can t help with most of the phrases. I know however that we don t use the in front of institutions like school, prison, church and hospital when we are using them for the reason they exist.

for example:
I went to church last Sunday (for the reason it exists, to pray)
I went to the church to get a special lisense (not for the reason it exists)

He went to priison for six years (he obviously did something illegal)
he went to the prison to visit a friend.

Hi Charo:

The housekeep has to put THE personal hygiene products/toiletries in the bathroom/washroom - not "toilet" here. If you used toilet here, you would be referring to the "retrete" - and i don t think we d want our toiletries put there!! lol

Inaugurar is "to open" ... so yes - to open a restaurant - is correct.

Tienes que vacunarte - you have to be / get vaccinated  (or even "shot" - example: I am going to get a tetanus shot. - Me voy a vacunar contra el tetano)

You have to get the vaccine.  - yes, although a bit incomplete... I would say "You have to get the Small Pox vaccine / or / You have to get the vaccine against Small Pox.

sacar la ropa de la lavanderia - take/remove the clothes from the laundry room.

llevar la ropa a la lavanderia - take the clothes to the laundry room.

I work on a cruise SHIP.

I am going to Bartending school / I am taking a Bartending Course / I am training to be a bartender.

Because I want to be a bartender/barman.

Hope that helps,

Linda
