Hello to everyone on a beautiful Sunday!
I was reading a book and there was a sentence "The cake is lovely if a bit lopsided." I think I �ve got the idea but could anyone explain what exactly if stands for and give some more examples?

If in this case stands for even though
The cake is lovely even though it is a bit lopsided
The picture was very colourful If a bit distorted.
