We use � �on � � for days and dates. � �in � � for months and years
e.g : on Saturday - on 21st March, 2008
in December - in 2009
What about a month and a year together?
___ March 2008??

in with months and years (in May, in 1998, in June 2010) on with days of the week and dates (on Tuesday) on June 23rd at with times (at 6 o �clock) and in at Christmas, at Easter.

What to use is decided by what comes first after the prepostion.
On the 26th March 2010 (26th is a Day)
On Tuesday the 19th August. (Day)
In June 2000 (Month)
In the spring of 2010, on a sunny afternoon, we went for a walk.
