even more than beforeexample: Several publishers rejected her book, but that just made her all the more determined.(this definition is taken from Cambridge dictionary)
(means many publishers refused to publish her book but that made her more determined than before.she insisted on publishing it despite the rejection. personal explanation)

Pilarham,
"Teacher Pedro was laughing because the student, Juan, had accidentally damaged a teacher s car with his bicycle. When I said that the car belonged to the Principal of the College, (whom no-one liked), Pedro laughed all the more!"
The first information made Pedro laugh. The second information made him laugh more.
I hope that this helps.

But remember "all the more" sounds odd in spoken English. It is found in books. |
