news on world issues

Hi dear ones my students have to debate about problems around the world, such as poverty, corruption, discrimination, etc and they have to suggest different possible solutions.
What I need is some real news that I could print to help them out to talk and discuss. As you may know here in Peru there aren t  newspapers in English. Can you recommend a web page Or something useful about the topic?
Thanks a bunch.

Yes, www.breakingnewsenglish.com is a great site. I have been preparing video lessons using the BBC and CNN news for my students and I put them on
www.aj3000.net .You can find them in the section BBC news. You need acrobat reader 9.0 to play them correctly.
Have a nice day
